Bread was good. Pizza was great. Shrimp scampi was ok. The meatball sandwich was ok needed more flavor.

The BEST pizza, honestly! We chose to eat here based on Yelp reviews because we were in the mood for pizza. We weren't expecting much because how unique can pizza really be? Parking was in a strip mall, and it was easy to find (you'll find a few groups of people waiting outside to get seated). The interior of the restaurant is modest and quaint. After about 15-20 minutes, we were seated in a booth. We ordered the lasagna and a small pizza for 2 of us. We honestly could have gone with the mini because they come out a lot bigger than you expect them to. The lasagna was solid - filling and delicious. Not the best lasagna we've ever had but it was delicious and comforting. For the small pizza, we got the Andre special on a thin crust (I like that you have an option to choose thin or thick crust). I'm glad we chose the thin because it was thick enough to complement the pizza but wasn't too thin like a cracker where it doesn't taste like pizza. The ingredients they use were generously and evenly spread through the whole pie and each bite had a nice crunch to the bottom crust with the ultimate cheese pull. Flavors meshed well together and I can easily say this is one of the best pizza's I've ever had! I appreciated their options for the pizzas - thin or thick crust, light, medium, or heavy cheese, and red, pesto, or alfredo sauce. I'd definitely stop by again if in the area. Oh, and the butter is UNDER the bread! We ate a few plain pieces hoping for butter before we discovered them at the bottom of the basket, haha.

A great place to enjoy 4th of July dinner while on vacation with my family. The homemade bread to start was delicious. I tried the minestrone soup One daughter had the Mediterranean chicken pasta and there was enough for two meals. It was very tasty. The other daughter and my wife shared a meat lovers pizza and the comment was " best pizza I have eaten". We had enough for a second meal. The blue cheese dressing is very good. Great service. Highly recommend.

This is a sweet, intimate, family owned Italian restaurant. You can tell everything is authentic in each and every one of their dishes. Even their bread is homemade and it was the best bread I have had in a restaurant. The first time we came here (6 years ago) we tried their pizza. The pizza is fun to order because you get to choose how much sauce and cheese you want. They have an extensive list of toppings and everything tastes so fresh. Pizza is definitely 5 stars! This time, we both ordered pasta dishes. I ordered their pesto and mine was so fresh tasting and the flavors were well balanced. My wife ordered chicken alfredo and it was the cheesiest, tastiest alfredo I've ever had. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the chicken was quite dry and I could only eat a couple pieces of it before I gave up on it. But overall, I would recommend this place and we will be coming here again next time we visit the Mendocino area.

This is a pizza place that is in a mini strip mall in Ft. Bragg. My wife and I were jonesin' for some pizza and Yelp came through....many, many good reviews...almost too good to believe. Warning it doesn't look like much from the outside but trust the reviews and go in. So, the pizza and service were 5+ - to quote other Yelp reviewers, it might be one of the best pizzas we've ever had. The service was very helpful since my wife has a few allergies - especially egg so anything mayo is also out. The server was incredibly helpful, checking other dishes in the back for egg related ingredients. Two thumbs up. So my wife had a meat lover pizza with light cheese and thin crust and, after stealing a few bites, I had to agree, it was mindblowingly good. I had their minestrone soup as a starter before my lasagna - very good. So, why a 4 star? This is one of those where you wish there were 1/2 stars....A few small bobbles. First, get ready to like your neighbor eaters because your booth bench is really close with the bench across the way...not a deal killer but a little uncomfortable. Also, they provide bread at the beginning but it's really like sliced white bread, light sourdough maybe? Not much taste. The final bobble was the lasagna - my wife had the pizza and I ordered the lasagna. I realize there are a lot of opinions on lasagna but here's mine...The dish was a cheese bomb. I literally had to dig to find any meat sauce. The ratio was upside down - needed way more meat, way less cheese. This was a Wednesday and the place was hopping - it's clearly a popular local place for good reason. This place is a must stop if you're in the area but my recommendation is to stick with the pizza.

Everything on the menu sounded yummy. Asked the waitress to surprise me. She brought me a full order of lasagna and this was HEAVEN. layers of meaty cheesy yummy goodness. The basil vinaigrette was mind blowing and I still think about it weeks later. Great service. Delicious food. Pleasant surprise tucked away in For Bragg.

Excellent portion sizes. I mean they were very generous with it. It's an Italian restaurant that has been around for a while. They offer hometown Italian fare such as pizza, focaccia, and soups and salads. They also sell their home made Italian bread and garlic bread, baked fresh daily. I tried their pesto linguini with chicken and it was pretty good. I probably would omit the olives out next time but the dish itself was bright and very herby. The pesto gave the dish a savory and rich flavor. Server was pretty friendly but it did take a while for the food to come out. It didn't seem too busy inside but they did have a few takeout orders.
